In recent days, HC has achieved a significant milestone by winning a contract to supply Surface Test Tree, Surface Safety Valve (SSV), and a 10000psi Flow Head for a project in Australia. These critical components play a pivotal role in the oil and gas industry, ensuring operational safety and efficiency.

Surface Test Tree:

The Surface Test Tree specified for this project features a size of 3-1/16”, a pressure rating of 10,000 psi, and key connections including a 3” Fig. 1502F Kill Connection and a 3” Fig. 1502M Flow Connection. Designed for service in both oil and gas environments, including H2S service, it complies with industry standards such as API 16A, ANSI B31.3, and NACE MR-0175. The Surface Test Tree serves as a crucial component in wellhead systems, facilitating the control and monitoring of fluid flow during testing and production operations.

Surface Safety Valve (SSV):

The Surface Safety Valve specified for this project is a 3-1/16” x 10,000 psi Fail-Safe valve. This critical safety component is designed to automatically close in the event of a system failure, providing an extra layer of protection against potential hazards. In high-pressure environments, the SSV acts as a fail-safe mechanism, contributing to the overall safety and reliability of the wellhead system.
