The desander skid package for our Malaysia oil & gas project has been successfully completed and is now ready for shipment.

This unit is designed for sand removal in oil & gas production systems, where solid particles are commonly present in the early stages of production or in unconsolidated reservoirs. If not properly managed, sand can lead to erosion of valves and pipelines, reduced efficiency of downstream separators, and increased maintenance frequency.

From this perspective, a desander is not just an optional piece of equipment, but an important part of ensuring long-term system stability.

For this project, the desander skid was engineered based on actual operating requirements rather than a standard configuration.

The unit is built to handle continuous flow conditions while maintaining stable separation performance. The internal design focuses on effective removal of solid particles without causing excessive pressure drop, which is critical for maintaining overall process efficiency.

At the same time, the structure is designed to adapt to typical oil & gas field environments, where fluctuations in flow rate and operating conditions are common.

The entire system is configured as a skid-mounted package, integrating the desander vessel with piping, valves, and key connections into a single unit.

This design offers several practical advantages:

Reduced on-site installation workload

Shorter commissioning time

Better control over fabrication quality

For overseas projects such as this one in Malaysia, skid-mounted solutions are often preferred, as they simplify logistics and improve overall project efficiency.

All fabrication and assembly work were completed in our workshop under controlled conditions. Each stage, from material preparation to final assembly, was carried out with a focus on structural integrity and operational reliability.

The equipment is manufactured in accordance with ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code Section VIII Division 1, ensuring compliance with international pressure vessel standards.

Before shipment, the unit underwent inspection and testing to verify its readiness for field operation.

Project Focus: Practical Performance

Throughout this project, the focus has been clear — not just meeting specifications, but ensuring the equipment can perform reliably in real operating conditions.

In oil & gas applications, equipment is ultimately judged by how it behaves on site. A well-designed desander should not only remove sand effectively, but also operate stably over time with minimal maintenance impact.
