HC is pleased to announce the successful delivery and on-site installation of a customized wastewater treatment system for natural gas purification wastewater treatment applications. The project has now entered the commissioning preparation stage, demonstrating HC’s capability in providing reliable and efficient industrial wastewater treatment solutions.
During natural gas purification processes such as desulfurization, decarbonization, amine regeneration, and equipment cleaning, wastewater with complex composition is often generated. This wastewater often contains high COD, high salinity, suspended solids, and refractory organic compounds, creating major treatment challenges for plant operators.

Many facilities face common issues such as unstable discharge performance, high chemical consumption, severe scaling in evaporation units, frequent shutdowns for maintenance, and increasing waste disposal costs. As environmental compliance requirements become stricter, more companies are seeking advanced treatment technologies that can improve efficiency while controlling long-term operating costs.
To meet these needs, HC supplied an integrated system consisting of a Thermally Activated Hydroxyl Radical Oxidation Skid and a Low-Temperature Steam Scraper Crystallizer.

The oxidation skid is designed to break down difficult organic pollutants and reduce COD through advanced oxidation reactions. By generating highly reactive hydroxyl radicals under controlled thermal conditions, the system improves wastewater treatability and reduces the burden on downstream units.
For many operators, fluctuating wastewater quality is a major concern. Once influent conditions change, conventional systems may lose efficiency or require excessive chemical dosing. The oxidation skid helps improve treatment stability and enhances resistance to shock loads.
The low-temperature steam scraper crystallizer is used for concentrate reduction and salt crystallization in high salinity wastewater streams. Compared with conventional evaporation systems, the scraper mechanism continuously removes scaling from heat transfer surfaces, helping extend runtime and improve operational reliability.

Its low-temperature design also helps reduce energy demand, while the crystallization process minimizes liquid waste volume and lowers final disposal costs.
The entire system was supplied in skid-mounted modular design, with fabrication, piping, and pre-assembly completed before shipment. This reduces on-site installation time and supports faster project startup.
HC remains committed to delivering practical and efficient natural gas purification wastewater treatment solutions for customers worldwide.
